Your baby dog is adorable, sweet, and oh so cuddly. But … you may have forgotten (or not even realized) how much nipping, jumping, chewing, zoomies, and sleepless nights can come along with all the cuteness!

It’s probably been many years since your last puppy—or this may be your very first—and you know that training has evolved from punitive to positive (thankfully!).

Better Puppy—Foundation Skills

5 x 1-hour lessons: $695

Your puppy will learn...

  • Attention, the mother of all behaviors, even with distractions

  • “Say Please” for the good stuff

  • Keep 4 on the floor, instead of jumping

  • Come when called, even with distractions

  • Impulse control (followed by Leave It)

  • Sit, Down, and Stay until released

  • Trade, so they give up things happily

  • Settle on the mat, a portable relaxation station 

  • Simple focus games

  • Crating and harnessing up happily

  • Walk with me and check in, on a loose leash

  • Use management and redirection to prevent puppy nipping

  • Get attention and cooperation without nagging

  • Get forbidden things back without conflict

  • Socialize properly, and what not to do

  • Read your pup’s body language
